Today was really fun, I feel like am understanding exploring alot more than on monday. I am still a little scared to go under the gums on my pod. I past off my vitals PE today which i felt good about. I plan on working on exploring at home on my typeodont. Clinic is getting funner day by day.

Clinic

Today was way fun we got to explore on each other. I learned a lot about the explorer instrument. I got more use to fulcruming and felt more comfortable with the mirror. We started out with the fake patient and then tried it on a pod partner which I felt was alot easier. I feel more comfortable with the anterior teeth than the posterior teeth.

Today was really interesting, we did the intra-oral exam. I liked looking and learning about peoples mouths. Its really helping me learn everything when we have to start the begining with our pod parnter, like taking the blood pressure, the extra-intra oral exams and writing in charts. I pasted off my hhx pe today which was a hard pe so far because of all the different things and the length of it. Today went by alot faster because we were working with each so much.

Wow clinic today was a little more confusing but I started to understand better. I really enjoyed getting the extraoral exam done. I didnt realize until today how much we really look for in the extra oral exam. Trying to fulcrum and think about what surfaces you are doing was hard for me. Fulcruming was more difficult in some spots than others. Overall today I learned a lot.

9/12/07 Clincal

Clinic started out a little slow, we read from the clinic manuel and everyone was a little sleepy. Then it got more exciting when we started taking vitals. The blood pressure was alittle hard for me to hear but after a few trys started to hear it better. I plan on going home and practicing. I also pasted off my patient positioning PE. I feel comfortable with all the clock positions. Overall it was a pretty productive day :)

09/10/07clinical

today in clinic we went over HHX and HHX/RX I feel like it is coming together better and making more sense. When having my HHX evaluated I realized how important it is to remember ALL medications that you are taking and there names. I really liked the drug book, its amazing how important and handy it is. I feel more comfortable doing my case study HHX now because of today.

Clinic

In yesterdays clinic I felt like I got a ton accomplished I pasted off two PE's, setup and cleanup. We also went of the clinic asst. description which I think will come in handy if the furture. I liked putting our own chart together. We also went over how a chart should look and what needs to be done in the chart, which was alot. Overall the clinic was good and i'm liking more and more.
